My art work has graced the walls of countless homes and businesses. My color sense is both striking and harmonious, with an impeccable sense of form and design. My vision is immense, passionate, without boundaries. I intensely explore whatever creative style I may be pursuing at the time.
I have studied at the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design, at Los Angeles City College and at Otis Art Institute. Among my commissions have been illustrating a biography of world renowned classical violinist, Yehudi Menhuin, painting a billboard on the famous Sunset Strip, executing three wall murals in Los Angeles’ downtown garment district, a nativity backdrop for a North Hollywood Presbyterian church, and a three paneled music-scape for a Canadian rock band.
I revel in the challenge of my work keeping pace with my vision and the myriad ideas pouring out of my brain. A deep love for humanity pervades all of my work and is what drives me forward.

A great book, a passionate song, a contemplative poem, a dynamic stage performance, a dazzling sunset, the peaceful solitude of a ten mile nature hike; these all inspire me and, in some form or shape, inform all of my creative work.
Not having a camera obscura at my disposal, when I am concerned about accuracy in my paintings, I create a grid on the canvas upon which I pencil in a light sketch. Once the drawing is done I apply a light wash over the entire piece. I then apply a series of thin coats over the main figures in the painting. Once I've gotten some kind of progress on the main figures I wash in the back ground and work it up in layers too. I then go back in to complete the final details on the main figures, followed by a final coat on the background. Shadows, on or emanating from the main figures, are the last touch I add to make the work complete.
